
Please be aware it is your responsibility to assure that the certificate of successful completion is sent to and received by Traffic Safety School, Heartland Community College, WDC 2400, 1500 W. Effective for all orders for supervision involving Traffic Safety School entered on or after January 01, 2010, successful proof of completion of the traffic school program is required at least 30 days prior to the termination date of your court supervision. If you miss your class and must reschedule, an additional fee of $25.00 is charged.ĪTTENTION ALL TRAFFIC SAFETY SCHOOL ATTENDEES: You are responsible for all fines, fees and costs associated with the attendance of Traffic Safety School. After that date, the reschedule fee is $25.00. To reschedule without an additional fee, call no later than the date printed on your class assignment form. If you cannot attend your class, immediately call Traffic Safety School and reschedule.

The McLean County Court will not accept the online program, you must attend a class. Your request for a class day and time will be honored if possible. The Clerk will return your receipt, bond card/Drivers License (if posted) once your payment is processed.

Upon receipt of payment in full and your registration materials, including signature, the Clerk will forward the information to Heartland Community College Traffic Safety School. Select Choice B and remit payment by check or money order Payable to the McLean County Circuit Clerk. If using the envelope given to you when the citation was issued, follow the instructions provided.
#Traffic school online drivers
Drivers under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian present in Court before Court Supervision will be granted. Drivers under 18 years of age should plead not guilty and request a court date.

Public Act 95-310 prohibits drivers under 18 years of age from participating in the mail-in process. THIS PROCEDURE DOES NOT APPLY TO DRIVERS UNDER AGE 18: These reports shall be recorded to the driver's record as a conviction for use in the disqualification of the driver's commercial motor vehicle privileges and shall not be privileged information. Part 384, all reports of Court Supervision, except violations related to parking, shall be forwarded to the Secretary of State for all holders of a CDL (Commercial Driver's License). If you were enrolled in or have completed Traffic Safety School for a violation committed within the past twelve months, you are NOT eligible to take the four hour course again. If your ticket is marked no court appearance required AND you have not attended a Traffic Safety School program in the last 12 months, you may be eligible to avoid a conviction on your driving record by receiving Court Supervision by mail and attending the Traffic Safety School Program.
